I don’t stop doing during a Res{e}t Week. Reader, I just move differently.

To me, a Res{e}t Week is one in which I truly allow myself to slow down without guilt.

I work on the things in business that are a bit more under the surface.

This week, that looks like working through a class I’m taking, ordering supplies for the Awakening into Spring Retreat, writing, and cleaning up the back end of my email system… and the piles on my desk 🙄.

Res{e}t Weeks are also a time to tend to my kids’ activities and appointments (this week that’s early dismissals, parent-teacher conferences, and no school… all by design this month) and to hang out with them in a more relaxed way. We play games, laugh, and snuggle perhaps just a bit more than other weeks.

I don’t stop doing… I just move differently through it all.
I move at a slightly slower pace and let life feel more spacious.

I spend more time nurturing my soul and body, especially when the week aligns with the luteal phase of my cycle.

But I know we don’t all have the luxury of setting our own schedules.
Even if you don’t control your schedule, you can still work with rhythm.

Life is cyclical, not linear… and with that understanding, we’re given the opportunity to pause each month instead of always pushing through.

Nature models this for us and invites us to follow suit.
When we do, we honor the harmony and connection between our actions and the world around us.

This rhythm of natural rest → growth → peak → tapering → repeat can be mirrored in the way you mindfully move through each week of the month.

📅You might avoid scheduling or attending meetings during your own personal Res{e}t Week.
🚗You might walk or drive a bit slower to and from the places you’re going.
🛀Or perhaps you dive into a favorite soul-nurturing activity for even just 10–15 minutes during the week to remind your nervous system what settling feels like.

It’s about being intentional.
And small doses are powerful.

It might even be as simple as finding this rhythm within the course of your day and inviting a pause at natural lulls in activity with a meditation like this one I created for you.

It’s a short pause for when life feels a bit hectic.
And it only takes about five minutes.

Because living in rhythm with life isn’t about getting it right.
It’s about inviting small changes that remind your nervous system it can return to harmony.

🎧Enjoy the meditation.
