Hey there Reader!
A few weeks ago I released a podcast episode that raised some concern and questions from some. So, in an effort to clarify how I view the connection between Christianity and manifestation that I didn’t share in the episode, I decided to share a riff from my current state of consciousness about what it means to me to be Christian and believe in the power of manifestation.
I’ve long had questions about how my woo-woo/mystical nature fits in with my religious beliefs as a Christian, so I try to learn as much about BOTH areas as possible so I can feel confident about how I move through life incorporating both ways of living… the structure (religion) AND the flow (woo).
I can’t imagine that I am the only person on this planet who wants to feel confident about incorporating elements from both sides into their lives. I might even be so bold as to say that you might be reading this because you, too, have had the same thoughts or questions. If so, I want you to know I see you.
My intention with this episode and the last episode is to help bridge the gap between a more conservative Christian viewpoint and the more mystical “woo-woo” beliefs.
At my current state of consciousness, I believe manifestation is about using positive energy to create beneficial circumstances for ourselves and others, with the understanding that the force behind this energy is God. Manifestation does not have to be seen as creating something from nothing, but rather shaping circumstances through free will to foster greater well-being.
If you want to learn more, check out the episode here.
I believe that everything good and positive comes from God, and ultimately, we have to surrender to His plan for our lives, but we can indeed create the circumstances and own our thoughts and actions to live in a way that moves us towards what we want to be inviting into our lives.
Cheers,
Cathy
P.S. If you want a simple way to work with me and begin to tune into your own inner power…your inner guidance, I have a weekly virtual breathwork class that gives you the pause in your week to do just that. It’s 30 minutes, and will help you slow down, tune into your inner guidance and make time stand still for just a short while, so you can breathe. And it’s just $9 a class. Check it out here.
