Hey there Reader,
It’s an Aries full moon in Libra season tomorrow which means we are in a season of harmony, but because of the other astrological alignments and the full moon is in Aries, it might mean you have to go though a little turmoil to get to that harmony.
Side note: As you know, one of the key pillars around here is harmony. (Perhaps that’s because my moon sign is Libra and that means I feel this deep emotional connection with finding balance in all things 🤷♀️. Weird how that works, isn’t it?) So anything that offers up a time to remind you that harmony is about balance and flow, is definitely worth mentioning.
In any case, it’s time to release toxicity from your life–from your relationships, your thoughts and your actions…with others and with yourself so that you can arrive at harmony.
And because we are at the beginning of eclipse season, it means there might be some shake-ups on the way to flow.
So the best thing you can do to prepare for this, is some physical, mental, emotional and energetic releasing. I like to do that with a releasing ritual around the full moon. And if you’re a local person, I’ve got a Celebration of Rhythms Yoga + Releasing gathering happening tomorrow evening that you can take part in and there’s still time and space to register. 🧘You can do that here.🧘
If you’re not local, here’s what I recommend for you to do to invite your own releasing ritual into your life. (You can also check out the podcast episode I did on this to get more details. 👉Check it out here.👈
Step 1: Create the tone + environment – this might look like:
- Preparing the space with scents, candles or music
- Doing some sort of movement to get stagnant energy moving in your body and connect with your Inner Guidance – yoga or dancing
- Settling your body and coming into presence by connecting to breath
Step 2: Write it out – this might look like:
- Grabbing some little pieces of paper and writing down each thing you are ready to release
- Grabbing a journal and processing through journaling the things that come up that need to be out of your life
- Writing a letter to someone whose energy has clashed with yours and that you’re ready to heal
Step 3: Gratitude and Visualization – this might look like:
- Acknowledging the place whatever you are releasing had in your life, truly feeling the gratitude for it and possibly expressing it on paper as well
- Visualizing yourself letting go of that person, place or thing – giving it to God, cutting cords, burning it, sending it off down a river, burying it, sending it into the vacuum of space, or letting it go like a balloon into the sky
Step 4: Burn it & Shake It Off (Taylor Swift style or not😉) – this might look like:
- Throwing each individual piece of paper or the journal pages into a campfire, fireplace, or some other safe place inside (kitchen sink) or outside of your house (fire pit)
- This communicates to your whole being that you are ready to let go of whatever it is that is no longer serving you
- Shake or brush your body, arms, legs or get dancing to clear that energy from your system
That’s it! We’re going to do some form of all of this tomorrow night, and I’d love for you to join us.
Here’s that link one more time if you want to surrender to someone else leading you through this so you can be fully present and don’t have to think about what to do next.😘
