Hey there, Reader,
❄️The first day of winter is coming!🌲For some of you, this may sound dreadful, because it means less light outside, colder days, that “awful” s-word, and squirrely kids cooped up in the house. Although winter can be cold, dark and empty, it can also be a beautiful reminder to explore the qualities it brings within our own lives. I get that that might sound a little miserable, but what I mean by it is to use the season to begin to shine more light on the parts of you that perhaps you choose to ignore in the day-in and day-out of living a naturally- (or artificially-) caffeinated life. The first day of winter is actually the START of more light entering our world. And that, my friends, is certainly reason to celebrate! 🎉 And it’s also reason to remember to shine a light🔦 inward on the darker parts of you that might be calling for healing. Just as your body generally spends more time indoors during winter, the rhythm of winter asks your spirit and mind to also go inward. To reflect and to spend time nourishing the deeper parts of who you are – something that can easily be dismissed or ignored when life is happening all around you… often at warp speed. This might be as simple as feeding your body foods that align with the season or as complex as sorting through some unwanted personal habits or tendencies that you’ve been trying to shake. Either way, when you do, you’re honoring the rhythm of winter in your life If you want some ideas of how and what to do to align with this rhythm in your life and welcome the winter with intention this season, I’ve created a Winter Solstice Celebration of Rhythms Planner to help you do just that, and I’m giving it to you as a gift for being a part of my business.
So thank you.🙏 This little tool is a quick reference sheet that invites you to do some “wintery” things the day of the solstice and beyond to align your personal rhythm with the rhythm of winter.

Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
Cheers,
Cathy
P.S. If the dark of winter does not agree with you, perhaps inviting a little light into you life might help. I started using a Happy Light a few years back and can definitely attest to it’s usefulness in combating the winter blues. Here’s the link to the one I {over-researched🙄} and now use: Verilux® HappyLight® Luxe – Light Therapy Lamp.
P.P.S. This is an affiliate link, so if you end up purchasing, I do receive a little benefit from Amazon because of your purchase, so thank you! It’s just one way you can support my small business even if you are somewhere else in the globe🙏💚.
