Hey Reader, Even seasons have a bit of a challenge when it comes to transitioning, so it’s OK if you do too. When it comes to the transition from Winter to Spring, if you’re in a place that has 4 different seasons of weather like I am, you get some random beautiful days in the middle of February and March, but then also get stretches of days of cold and snow and rain. Mixing a little of the past with bits of what’s to come, to get this blurry stage in the middle. Perhaps, transitions are just that… the messy, blurry in the middle. But I believe it is possible to alter how we walk through them so that just maybe that messy part doesn’t set your stress response off and leave you living in what I call a fear funk. The more we practice moving with intention and focus through life’s transitions, the more graceful and easeful they become, even if they are still a little messy. We can indeed build our capacity to hold the stress that comes with transitions, even if it’s a transition that is as simple as moving from the quiet rhythm of winter into the bustling energy of spring. Because, yes, even that transition brings with it stress that’s not often acknowledged, but instead ignored, covered up with more activity or just plain pushed down into the depths of your soul until it explodes all over those closest to you or manifests as dis-ease within the body. (Ahem, speaking from experience in both scenarios, if you get my drift). So practice. Practice intention in all the little transitions you do, including moving from one natural season to the next, because it’s those transitions that will make the larger life transitions easier as well. And enjoy and appreciate the warm sunny days when they arrive as well as the cold blustery days that reappear just a part of the messy middle that it is ☀️🌧️❄️☀️. Because sometimes, you get all the seasons in one week… at least here in Iowa we do! Cheers to weather in Iowa in March!😉💚 ✨ Spots are limited—save yours today! Register here. Cathy
