Hey Reader,

It is that time of year again, the time when resolutions are made. Goals are set. Intentions are put out there. Fresh starts are starting to be made all over the globe.

But this isn’t just another email about how to best set yourself up for success, or what NOT to resolve to do this year, or to try to convince you to call your resolution anything different than a resolution so that when it doesn’t happen exactly as you envision it to happen you don’t feel completely defeated.

Nope.

I’m not going to tell you any of that.

What I am going to tell you instead is that, yes, this is a good time of year for reflecting on the past year and looking ahead to the upcoming year. When we do these sorts of things it completes a cycle and allows you to move forward without extra baggage.

And since all nature and life is cyclical (rather than the linear construct we have created with calendars and time🤯…more on that another time), you have the ability to embody this same way of being.

And by doing so, start and end the process of whatever you are doing whenever it feels right for you.

Sometimes people choose their birthday as the natural start and end of their annual cycle, sometimes it’s a seasonal shift or the actual new year. But the point is, YOU get to decide what feels right to you.

It’s about tuning into your OWN inner guidance and using that as your personal GPS to decide when you need to set resolutions, intentions, goals, or whatever you may call them.

Of course, nature is a beautiful blueprint to mirror, but if that doesn’t feel authentic to you, then what does? Find it and use it, without letting the judgement or projections of anyone or anything else influence you.

And because that can happen just about any time of the year, I want to be able to offer you tools that can support your well-being at the start of this calendar year and beyond.

Tools that I use in my own life and have found help cultivate greater health, harmony and happiness for me, and that you may also want in your life. Most of these tools are year-round things that can be used to maintain that sense of well-being that you’re likely seeking.

It’s often around the holidays that I get asked what yoga mats, bolsters, or yoga clothes or self-help books I recommend, and because of that, I became an Amazon affiliate years ago. This essentially means that if I share a product with you and you end up buying it, I get a little percentage from Amazon of your purchase (including anything else that may be in your shopping cart when you check out).

So even if you are using the giant to purchase things that you’re going to purchase anyway, you’re still, in a way, supporting me as a small business.

I don’t share this often and I certainly don’t promote it regularly like I could, but being the perpetual researcher that I am, before I decide on a product that contributes to my well-being, I spend ample time looking at all options before actually purchasing. So I know the stuff I recommend is going to be worthwhile in adding value to my life.

And while these tools might help improve your well-being, you’ll also be helping mine by supporting my business and my personal life if you make a purchase after clicking any one of the Amazon links I ever share with you.

It’s reciprocal.🔁

Just like nature.

So whenever you decide the “end” or “start” of your annual cycle is, know that the supports you choose along the way can contribute to the outcome you desire… whatever you may choose to call it.

And just in case you want to support my small business and family, I’ve taken some of the extra effort out of it for you by compiling a couple lists of what might help you most on your journey to prioritizing your well-being.

I give you the full lists in these two podcast episodes, which could also be called well-being guides:
