Hey thereReader,

A full moon, like we had this week in case you weren’t aware, ushers in a time for letting go of what no longer serves or what needs it’s own space to breathe, or as I like to call it, releasing.

It’s a time to look at the past month, forgive what needs to be forgiven and let go. It’s a time to let emotions out.

And although the full moon was 2 days ago, it was only the beginning of this process of releasing. There’s still time to take action and let go of what might not need to remain in your life anymore or maybe even what is ready thrive out there in the world.

This could be in regards to relationships, emotional attachment that is hurting you more than helping you, beliefs that are keeping you stuck, projects that are ready to see the light of day, or even simply clutter in your environment that needs to go (take a look at your desk…anything there that could be decluttered?? I recently decluttered my desk at home and the difference it made in my peace of mind was tremendous!).

My guess is you already have in mind something that you know you’re ready to put out there or let go of.

Well, my friend, it’s time.

Time to take action.

Time to release attachment to whatever it is that is holding you back or that you’ve created and are ready to watch thrive.

So here’s a quick releasing ritual you can do (and even still capture a significant amount of energy from the full moon if you do this today) to put some intention behind your willingness to release.

  1. Create a sacred space and turn this into a ritual to give meaning to it.
  2. Tune in–to your mind, body, emotions and spirit in the moment and breathe fully into your body.
  3. Consider anything from the past month that is no longer serving you and that you want to release or that you are ready to give to the world.
  4. Write it on a piece of paper and spend some time acknowledging it and the place it had in your life. Sign it and date it to seal the deal.
  5. Visualization

    1. Close your eyes and visualize the item in front of you
    2. See the item wrapped in your love with a pink glow of light surrounding it
  6. Choose to release attachment to it by visualizing yourself:

    1. Releasing it into the air and watching until it cannot be seen anymore
    2. Burning it
    3. Burying it
    4. Sending it into a black hole/vacuum
    5. Flushing it down a toilet
  7. Take the paper(s) you wrote on and burn it or throw it away. Declare “I’m now ready to release __________. And so it is.” Then let go of any emotional attachment to it.
  8. Do some releasing movement like shaking to stimulate your nervous system, “brushing” it off of you or your aura, or even some dancing in the moonlight. Or simply go outside and look up at the moon and take a moon bath if you can see the moon. If you can’t, trust that the moon is full and honor the releasing ceremony.
  9. Sit quietly and notice the lighter energy you are now experiencing.

You can really do this ritual anytime the mood strikes…even if there isn’t a full 🌕

This whole process is the start of your Energetic Rhythms Phase 3, so you have about 2 weeks of your Energetic Rhythms Cycle to actually take advantage of releasing. And that’s what I’m talking about in this week’s episode of the Health Harmony and Happiness with Cathy podcast.

Check it out here=>

Just like with the first 2 phases, I’ll tell you all about the characteristics of this cycle, why they matter to you and how you can move through the most common challenges of this phase of your Energetic Rhythms.

In the meantime, I’d love to hear from you…what are you ready to release this cycle?

Helping you find the rhythms in all you do!

Cheers,

Cathy
