Hi Reader!

When I was in college I moved all the time…living in a sorority house, I moved rooms every semester, then out of the house in the Summer and back into the house in the Fall. When I moved out of the sorority and into an apartment, I still moved each year.

I figured out the best way to “Tetris” my stuff into totes and my photographic memory did wonders for remembering what stuff I had put into what tote when it came time for unpacking or leaving the stuff in the totes and only pulling things out as I needed them 😄.

The transition became pretty effortless in the fact that I knew what fit in what tote and how to pack them all in my car.

It took practice though.

And, if I were to move today…it would likely be a whole different story with 3 kids, and a whole houseful of mostly decluttered stuff. 🙃

I would likely want to go about it a little more systematically and change up my plan from what it was in college. And I sure as heck know I wouldn’t be as efficient as I was in college because I’m out of practice.

Moving is a physical transition that we can actually see and experience. We consciously know things are going to be different and may be able to approach it with a different mindset than some of the other transitions life brings us. But just because we can anticipate it, doesn’t mean it’s going to be effortless.

There are three elements that are essential to helping you flow through transitions, whether they are the daily transitions or the big transitions in life. And I’m sharing what those are in this week’s episode of the podcast.

Check it out here=>

Transitions can take time to adapt to, even the ones we can anticipate daily, weekly or monthly. And for those regular transitions (and all transitions for that matter), the trick is learning to trust and flow with them even when their consistency makes them challenging.

Until next week…

Helping you find the rhythms in all you do!

Cheers,

Cathy
