Hey Beautiful Soul,
It’s time to do a little life inventory.
Have you taken a pause to zoom out and consider the path that you’re on right now?
As a “cairn” is considered a guide on a path, marking the way, let today’s newsletter be just that, taking you deeper than you may normally go.
Sometimes we get so caught up in looking at the fauna and flora around us on the path that we forget to pause and look at the map (Raise your hand if this has been you before🙋♀️).
And perhaps we need a gentle nudge to remind us to pull out the map and assess where we’ve been, where we’re going, and if the route we’re taking is still the best route.
Reader, I want to invite you to set a timer for 5 minutes (more if you’ve got the spaciousness in your schedule). Then pull out a journal and answer these 3 simple questions about this season of life that you’re in right now:
- What do I want to savor more of?
- Where am I overscheduled?
- What’s one summer rhythm I want to keep into fall?
Write the answers down.
You know why?
Because when you write things down your brain processes them differently. It stores them in a way that makes more of a lasting impression on you than if you were to just read these in your email and answer them in your mind.
Your answers don’t have to be long and drawn out, but if they lead you to writing more than just a few words answer, follow that lead.
Let the answers that arrive naturally in your mind without overthinking be the guide that draws you further into self-exploration.
And by doing this little practice, may it bring you into greater connection with not only yourself, but also with others around you. May it enrich your relationships, empower you to do great things, and let your light shine brighter.
And if you feel called, I’d love to hear your responses – reply back to this email and share with me what comes up for you💚.
Cheers,
I open my heart and allow unresolved hurts to heal.

What’s Cultivating Health Harmony Happiness in My Life…
Walking
If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you likely have seen some of my Tuesday morning walks in my stories, but what I’ve realized about this time of year is that, more than anything, walking calls to me. My yoga practice seems to drift from the forefront of the picture and walking seems to be my preferred movement in the summer.
Year after year, this is what I witness about myself.
The forward movement speaks to the energy of the season, while the mindful connection with the ground beneath me keeps me focused and grounded during a season of expansive energy. And of course, nature’s beauty helps me tap into creativity as I watch in wonder of all of God’s creativity at our fingertips.
I wonder, what is it that speaks to you for movement this time of year? Write me back and let me know.
